The book discusses the journey of a bi-racial man name Bornsavior Jones living with an alter ego of God and the Devil betting on his stock. Although uncertain of his cause, he blames God and Satan for taking everything sacred from him. As the future Antichrist, Bornsavior experiences a harsh sheltered life as a marked soul, determined to conquer his inner demons even if it costs him his life. He carries a gift to sustain wounds that are life threatening, feeling no unpleasant sense of pain of any kind. His only curse is that he still remains a mortal. He makes the transition from martyr to messiah while playing a volatile role in saving the Italian mafia from being hunted by a fanatic called The Hyena. The Hyena has taken over criminal syndicates from the Triads to the Colombian cartels, thus creating his United Nations of total anarchy. So, the Italians are the last piece of the puzzle. Presently, the Italians have adopted the Ancient Roman's system. Hence, the mafia today is called the Army of Rome. Born savior makes a strong impression on the current godfather, Peter Centauro. The godfather recognizes Bornsavior’s courage and tries a different approach on vanquishing the terrorists by recruiting him. The godfather dubs him with the alias "The Blacksmith" and gives him resources to recruit his own crew of outcast to battle corrupt cops, informants, cannibals, wise guys, terrorists, and most of all, for the love of a woman. But the greatest battle of all is the holy war within himself.
